ok here. I will tell you facechild isn't a student. In college they reccomend macs because they are stable enough to use all their required programs which don't include games. Mac was originally created for business work because they didn't support any windows games. Now, macs are compatable with all of windows programs via an emulator named paralells. This emulator is free or very low charge when you buy macs. And, to get a virus on a mac you have to try to get one. And lar that's true, school computers run on a huge group network. So basically, trying to run a school network smoothly is like trying to watch research and play WoW at a LAN party while on teamspeak and not panting. Very hard (no pun intended).
