Has anybody noticed the rise of n00bs saying this when they get in the server? It's extremely annoying and sometimes keep repeating what they said,
In my humble opinion, i think that this is because other n00bs are downloading lots and lots of addons (In attempt to be "Cool") So the people who join have to wait longer, so now they think every server in blockland may have a long load..

thank god i use pretty much no mods.
then i get to hang with the noobs much quicker :D

That isnt that bad.. I hate more that people doesnt know how to download add-ons properly :/

All the addons in addons/addons.

I get so sick and tired of this, I have to put 'Don't ask how long the load is or how many Add-Ons I have', and when someone asks that they're kicked.

I know its annoying

Its not like you can get a Accurate Time for the load, but when they ask i always say " A Long time, Mabye a couple hours"

I hate them too. First of all, the load time can very based on how many add-ons you have downloaded. Also,the need to keep asking it.

I usually ask how long the load is but only if I am downloading Add-Ons/Add-Ons/Add-Ons/Etc. and I have a freind in the server. I just don't want to be forced to wait 20 minutes just to get in a noob riden server just because one of my freinds is in it. I don't see how it is a noobish question seeing as the only add ons I actually have to download are either really really new or placed in the wrong file path. So that would mean that some one could easily give me an aproximation based off if any of the add ons are new and if the noob host put them in the right file path.......

Reasons why no one can answer this question on any server.
1) Download speeds are different.
2) Some people have already gotten some of the files from another server. (If installed correctly)
3) Some people may or may not have audio downloads on.

I've quit explaining this to people, and instead I tell them "Yes, it's a long load." Even if it isn't, just so they leave.
