Well i've never had experiences with ghosts but my mom told me about one time when she was young and babysitting. There was a candy jar in the front room of the house. She was in the kitchen doing something. Suddenly she heard an enormous shattering and ran into the front room to see what happened. The candy jar was shattered. None of the kids she was babysitting could have done it because the only way out of the front room was to the kitchen or to the front yard, so my mom would have caught them. It could have been anything, but we think it may have been a poltergeist.
