The Huge loving Maze

That maze was 1401x1401 bricks in size, and would need approximately 479 64x64s for a base.

You are a lazy ass. I plan on making the maze the old way of placing a brick and moving on. Using scripts is stupid, lazy and just plain boring.

Randy wrote a script to make a maze, you were too lazy to write a script to do it... :D
and.. Do I detect a little jealousy from General Omega?  :cookieMonster:

Because we all know building a maze is fun, right?

Writing the script would be harder than making it straight out of bricks...
I guess people who use JVS instead of wanding doors open are lazy too.

it was fun making mine.
Plus if you write a script that is 1 time. once you do it takes no time at all to make a maze. By hand is better.

Yeah.. Uhm... I'm going to have to go with Randy's script on this one, because it's better in the sense that you don't know which way is the way out. If you make it yourself, then of course you do!

Randys is a hell of a lot bigger than yours. Call him lazy, stupid, whatever, it's still bigger than anything you were intending to make I am sure.

Just use BMP2SCRIPT guys.

want randy's script.  How does one generate a maze anyway?
@ omega - That maze you are planning will be 6400x6400.  That is bigger than randy's maze.  It would break the brick limit so you couldn't finish it.  On top of that, it would lag like hell.

I made the grid that you make to make a maze. The brick count came to 282. That  times 100 would be 28200. Subtract about 1000 then add around 100 and that would be a rough estimate to the brick count. you would need a 1000 unit (64x64 maze = 1 unit) maze to get to the brick limit.

5/10, also try not to make it 18 64x64 make it like 9 64x64 with 2 floors.

Nobody cares that you got that warning.. >:/

Omega, I was basing that off Randy's count.

yes Please rate. I have plans on making one that dwarfs this maze. I think I am going to use 18 64x64 plates instead of 9.

I rate it 9/10

There's the maze(); function that automatically places bricks in a grid, spaced by 6 bricks across. Using this with 1x1x5's and 1x1x6's (twice, rotated each way) gives you a generic grid full of bricks. Get the wand out and cut paths through the 1x1x6's.

I made an extremely generic three floor maze through this, it looks almost the same as the one posted here except smaller (colours taken from Badspot's maze screenshot in both) so I won't post a screenshot.

Also, in relation to the title:
