Got a Anti Virus, Virus.

I got this virus by searching "Blockland", on google. I clicked on the 8th one and which is called "Return to Blockland". Me like a handicap downloaded it thinking its a Anti Virus update of something. So now I can not get rid of it. So ill have to format my computer later today or maybe tomorrow. If anyone that can help me to get rid of it an easier way please tell me how, thanks.

I went there and there was some serious stuff happening. It tried to make me download anti virus thing several times and it detected two trojons that i didn't have. (nortan couldn't find them)

Ok guys, I had to visit to make sure you weren't lying. Lol virus, this is what made me have to shut down the computer and had to get ubuntu and then reinstall windows.

If you ever encounter this where firefox goes to like super small screen and then there's a popup saying crap like DO YOU WANT AN ANTIVIRUS.

As long as you don't press no or yes or escape on that window you're good.
To get out of it, goto Task Manager(Ctrl+Alt+Delete)..processes..and then find the process for your web browser.
iexplore.exe = internet explorer
firefox.exe = firefox
opera.exe = opera
(idk if this is right) safari.exe = Safari.

And then select it, and press delete key and then enter. Now idk for the others but when you exit out of firefox by ending the firefox.exe, when you start it back up again it will give you the option to start new session or where you goto where you were.

Start a new session and be win.

I wanted to teach my brother how to deal with those viruses type things, but then when I went to the site, it was back to normal.

Then after I got off the computer and got on the other one. It's not back to virussite.

Remember if you click it and it happens to be virus'd at the moment, don't click anything in the "DO YOU WANT ANTIVIRUS TO PROTECT YOU".
Just goto task manager and end the internet browser's process.

I have an easier method.

Step 1: Yank the power cord out of your computer (Does not support laptop users, for a limited time only, results may vary.).

That's a horrible method. Then you will lose all your unsaved files. Also for people that don't have the back of their computer facing them and close to them(99% of everyone) they will have to get out of their chair and walk over to it then reach behind and pull it, and then be careful not to drop it or else then they have to go around and try to find it.

Right-click Program
Go to Process
Press DELETE
Press ENTER
done.

Antivirus 2009 = av2009.exe, delete that, and kill the process.  The folder is C:/Program Files/Antivirus 2009/
