I was wondering if there is a way to get a joypad working on Aot?

Not directly, but theres a program called joytokey that can convert joystick input to keyboard/mouse input. http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version.htm

You'll get owned by keyboard/mouse players though.
