New Hampshire was hit late last month by a hurricane/tornado(Depends who you ask).

Yeah, we'll screw you guys, see when the hurricane hits, here in Ohio we get all of the after rain. That includes flooding, but not necessarily, my basement. Which I guess isn't as bad as having your entire house destroyed, we still have tornadoes.

And as for me I've got a good 3 or 4 weeks left before school.

Australian school started 2 weeks ago and the holidays only went for 2 weeks. The holidays are broken up in the year in Australia, so you start school for 10 weeks then holidays then the same thing happens 4 times then at the end of the year we get a 6 week holiday during Christmas time. 40 weeks of school and 12 weeks of holidays, 52 weeks in a year :D

Am I the only one who looks forward to school? Or are you guys the people who listen to your teachers and not pull pranks to see their reactions?

oh..my...god....i REALLY hope that is sarcasm. there are better things to do then sit around, listen to an old man that looks like a woman talk about what happened hundreds of years ago, or listen to a hyper-active woman that drinks 3 cups of coffee(literally) in the morning talking about how to remember pi to the 15th digit and how to cut a pizza into 8 pieces. Or maybe an old grump teacher that talks about books all day long and can't take a joke. Or a gym teacher who makes you run 10 extra laps for going to the bathroom. These are seriously my teachers

School isn't an issue but the transition from summer back into school is very painful.



It's going to happen, get over it, you won't be bitching in a month after you get back in the groove. Life is that much easier when you can learn to accept that.

My school system is trying to get that to happen. And though it's a good idea, and I support it, I will miss summer.

Not actually. I miss school dearly. Summer is boring as hell, and I never get to see anyone besides the same 4 firends that I have. Which mind you isn't bad, but not only do I have school friends, I also get the only chance to see my girlfriend while at school. Atop of all that I surprisingly miss one or two of my teachers. You know those really awesome ones (my teacher, he's like Robin Williams from Dead Poet Society. Fracking Pwns.)
