Actually..
I had this huge conversation with mah best friend for ever Esther teh other day...
She was saying "I wonder what happens after life" Then Im like
Well..
I think after you die... Nothing happens.. Because life's pointless.
So what you live one life, I mean, before this life, you could have been something totally different, and thats even IF there was a life before this life. And imagine not existing? Never knowing yourself... Never remembering who you were before you were now... Eh, I think about it every day, and thus I cant sleep.
Anyway I hate life, I want it to end, I don't care if I live or die, I mean, if Im dead how the forget should I know, I'd be dead. In fact I might go kill myself now... I gots to get mah razor.

Oh yes, I suppose that because I believe that once you die you loving die, I haet mii liief T_____T. Just because I'm not some ignorant forget that listens to my church doesn't mean I don't appreciate what I have. You guys really need to learn what an emo loving is. It's someone who wallows in self pitty to garner attention. I'm headstrong and do not look down at my feet and any attention garnering is done through my uniqueness and spectacular presence.

Also, have any of you ever seen a brain after it rots in the ground for a month? It usually has fungus going on it. It's impossible for the body to sustain even a dream after death. Your heart stops beating, your lungs stop pulsing. Your brain stops getting new oxygen and the electrical signals finally end.

And if you get one of those 'sealed' coffins that keep out 'moisture', then you'd be horrified what happens.� Usually, when you die and your body is left buried without a coffin or left on the ground, decomposers begin to eat at you. They stuff out nutrients that the soil absorbs and the grass uses and so on. However, in a sealed coffin, those fungi are trapped outside. This leaves your stomach's digestive enzymes with nothing but your body left to eat. As they do so, they excrete gasses. The heat and gasses leaving your decomposing body are trapped, creating a pressure cooker underground. After awhile, the coffin and 6 feet of dirt cannot keep the lid down anymore and it explodes, splattering your liquid remains into the ground.

I believe in the afterlife. Well, not so much believing as it is hoping for, though. I guess my real belief in what happens after death is, well, you just stop everything. Breathing, seeing, feeling, thinking, dreaming. You're done and gone, forever. Seems like a depressing thought which is why I hope for afterlife or even reincarnation.

Also, Iban, seeing as you appear to have a scientific explanation for most everything, I'm curious as to what your explanation for ghosts might be. I mean, you can't just disregard the millions of videos and claims made by all kinds of people. Sure some are fake, but they can't all be, so what do you think?

Christians (cant really speak for other religions i know less about) shouldn't believe in ghosts, because people are explained to what happens at death. no where does it say you stay and wonder earth... very specifically it tells us we go to heaven or hell.
the "holy ghost" is something extremely different. defined. then what people traditionally think ghosts on earth are.

its like the Christians that also believe in karma. NOT a teaching of that god, very opposite actually.

people mix and match beliefs because its convenient, not because they are educated in what they were raised to think.

edit:
the bible is actually very specific about death and time in heaven or hell.
it tells us that you have no identity and name anymore. you have no thoughts (memorys?) of family and life back on earth. you do NOT look down on earth and observe. you exist to ONLY worship god for eternity.

thats quite different from the ghosts and lost souls hanging about.

but most christians dont study thier own religion, or even practice it. so making things up as convenient is the fad

I completely agree with IbanZ on everything that he said. If he didn't post it first, I would have said nearly the exact same things.

And JDofPivot, you sound like one of those people that are Atheist because it's "cool". You do not have nearly enough life experience by the time you reach the 3rd grade to make a rational decision and to put the amount of thought it would take to realize who you really are and how you really perceive things.
