Author Topic: I can't log into Youtube using proxy  (Read 5550 times)

Well, when I was using proxy to go to youtube, I noticed how when I tried to log into my account, everytime I would, it would just scroll up to the very top of the page, and nothing else happens.

Does anyone know of this?

Why would you use a proxy to access youtube?

mom using K9 Web protection, because a younger family member is staying over.

Anyways, I tried using a dif proxy, it worked, but now when I try to view a video, it doesn't load. I just see a spinning circle.

Turn it off, do what you want, turn it back on.

What do you mean by that? You mean restart my comp, or firefox?

Because it doesn't work on firefox nor Internet Explorer.

Turn off the crappy k9 web protection.

If it's a program, then goto task manager and in the processes look for something that seems like it. Then kill it.

Can't. It's got tight security, and is mainly used from it's main website. the program of it on my comp is just a small interface. If I try to remove it using hijackthis, it will respawn. If I try to use Windows task manager to turn it off, the program mand from the main website will put my comp on lockdown, and I would have to restart my comp. mom won't give me the password.

Now that I talk about it this way, it sounds like the program is hacking my comp, but it got permission to do so from my parents.

Anyways, when I try to use http://www.proxyboxonline.com/ that proxy, the log in for youtube doesn't work, but the videos do.

When I try to use https://www.goidle.com/ that proxy right there, it doesn't load the videos, and sometimes freezes firefox.

Won't work on Internet Explorer either.

UPDATE: Forgot to say. when using both proxy, it's like logging into youtube with one proxy, doesn't make it where im logged in already with the other proxy.

Format the computer for lulz and make it to where your mom is a user that can't do stuff.

That'll teach her to put crap on your computer.

It is..your computer right? If not, then who's is it?

Oh, it's mine.

But formatting it is a bit troublesome trying to restore everything, and there's a special thing where you need a user name and password registered to their site to log into their program and use it on the comp..........I GOT AN IDEA!

How about I just register for K9 Web Protection, use my account for it, and then shut it down? But If I remember, each account gets their own copy of the program, so there's another prob, but it's worth the try.

Haven't you partitioned your drives to where you have C drive be like 10gb(if it's windows xp) and then have the rest on another partition?
Just format C drive and install windows. Takes like 20 minutes.

Me personally, I save all my installation files and such to D:/Downloads/

That reminds me, how old are you?

If I had my own computer, I would only let other people on if I was watching them or they told me a good reason of them being on.
