Nope. Verizon is accually pretty good for connections. I got the highest one in my area.

But what would bad server connections resulting in an unknow ping be a sign of v9, that's just plain old dumb.

Acctualy ive seen every server with ??? ping a few days ago.

Then its a problem with the people you are trying to connect to. It has nothing to do with blockland or v9.

Because version incompatibility, some of the network stuff is rewritten.

Because v9 transmits variables, datablocks and things in a different way from what your copy of v8 is 'expecting', causing your game to crash.

People are still going to download files wrong for v9 and i'm going to have tons of addons, addons.

Now put it in a long unnecessarily complicated explanation and I will be happy. I understand those better then short crap that is like" 5, the answer is 5." I prefer" 1*2/9+3*8-.222222222+2-21=5"

If they aren't using RTB (for auto installing), I predict that some people will attempt to extract the files or place the .zip files in the Blockland folder. (Then have the Add-On not actually run)

Actually, wouldn't extracting it so you get Add-Ons/Weapon_Whatever/Files work just as well as having Add-Ons/Weapon_Whatever.zip/Files? Blockland doesn't recognise a difference, so...

Yes, you can extract if you want.

it would just play it back untill it says that a connection can not be made like when I screwed up the MessageAll by trying to make it go to a client?

No, it would look perfectly normal. I've done it a few times on accident. You'll know you've messed up when you see things like Downloading: minifig.dsq and addons/Vehicle_Jeep/jeep.dts. The mission will load fine, you'll get all the way up to mission lighting, and then right when you'd expect to spawn the game crashes.
