Author Topic: problem with wrench mod  (Read 1111 times)

i just downloaded wrench mod, read up on how to use it, watched some videos, and im ready to use it. the only problem is the directions for extracting are quite confusing for me. it says this in the manual:

Download the mod from www.imtoolazytomemorizethesit e.com, extract the .zip to your blockland directory ad then you can host and partisipate (spelling) in servers with wrench events.

yeah, i almost get it, but can somone explain to me where my blockland directory is exactly?

NOTE: the modify doesnt work.
i did not get the mod from that site.
its not even a site!

ok mr. no humor heres the real link

I doubt it was so much a lack of humor as it was the fact that no one can help you if they have no idea what you mean. Your Blockland directory is the folder you installed Blockland to. By default it's C:/Program Files/Blockland. You can get to it by right clicking the icon on your desktop, and (Vista) clicking "Go to target location" or (XP and earlier) clicking properties and under the shortcut tab, selecting "Find target." From there, just be sure the zip is extracted into the folder it takes you to (Not the add-ons folder).

thank you. does this apply to all add-ons?

All of them that are packaged correctly. You can tell if when you open zip(or rar), you see a folder inside it called "Add-Ons," which should be most of them. This causes the two add-ons folders to merge together and puts the addon in the correct spot. You may see a message asking if you want to merge the folders. Click yes if so.
