no it doesnt it says How did you learn coding?

It's a queston. So it does in fact say it all. I'm just seeing what some of the coders did to learn. T.T

I've forgoten most of it by now, but what I did was look at code and tried to modify it. Looking at if for hours gives you a good idea at what does what. But you should buy a book. The're probally the best.

I learned by way of:

Looking at scripts.
Space Guy.
MrPickle.

I learned back in the 0002 days, when there was massive amounts of scripts available for opening, modifying, and stuff :3

I learned Torquescript from reading other scripts and lots of practice.
I learned Java, Actionscript, and Visual Basic from high school.
I learned HTML and CSS from internet tutorials.
I learned very little C++ from TGE.

I also learned C++ and Visual Basic from a book, BASIC from internet stuff, HTML/Javascript from an HTML class.

Hmm, many people just look at existing scripts. o_o

Yeah, it's an efficient way to learn.

I guess thats what ill do. Does anyone know any good books for torque scripting?

Looking at existing scripts isn't looking at books.

I know just asking if anyone knew any good books. If not I would resort to looking a existing scripts. O_o

Look at the GarageGames website.
