Author Topic: How to package decals  (Read 254970 times)

Well this is disappointing. I read through the entire post multiple times and I can't get my test face to work.
It is packaged exactly like is says, face in the zip and thumbnail in "thumbs" file in zip, both picture have same names, have the exact dimensions listed for each one, but it never works.
I don't have a description.txt or a server.cs
I'm really confused.

You clearly didn't read. That is what you need.

How would I make one for a print cube?

What is a CS folder? What does it look like in windows 7

There's no such thing as a .cs folder. There is, however, such a thing as a .cs file, which I think is what you meant. Sorry if that comes out pretentiously. Regardless, a .cs file is simply code, but in this circumstance, it must be left blank since there's no need for code in a decal or print.

Oh, thanks!

I'm sorry if this counts as "bumping" the topic, but thank you Wedge. I made a (horrible) face that took 2 minutes using this. Thanks!

(i guess since it's stickied it doesn't bump it. Cool)

You don't need a server.cs or a desription.txt file for faces and decals. I don't know why.
