Need help with paint.net

I want to start makeing decals and faces but i dont know how to make them transparent in paint . net .
please someone tell me how.

Use the "Magic Wand" tool and click on the places you want deleted. Press the delete button on your keyboard to delete it.

ok now i got it but one more thing i dont know where to put it since v9 came out.

C:\Program Files\Blockland\base\data\shapes\player\decals

and heres where you put your faces

C:\Program Files\Blockland\base\data\shapes\player\Faces

i dunno where you put the icons
