Author Topic: Port Forwarding... Two ports... Should I use...  (Read 3331 times)

I know this is probably the wrong forum but my Help and Gen. Discussion is off limits so I saw blockland says to forward ports 28000 to 28030 on blockland.us/PortForward but in game when I start a game and click the "Internet" button it pops up saying to forward ports 28000 to 28032! What one do I use?

who cares, forward the extra two ports then. you cant fail

Hmmmm.... Seems I tried both and no one could join my game =/

You need to forward all the ports from 28000 to 28032.

That means every port like...

28000
28001
28002
28003
28004...

And make sure you enable both TCP and UDP.

But it only gives me 2 slots to put port 28000 and 28032...

Make sure you enable both TCP and UDP.

In the drop-down box I put both. BTW I'm a linksys

BTW I'm a linksys
HOLY stuff LINKSYS ROUTERS HAVE GAINED BASIC CONSCIOUSNESS!?

Ontopic: What model Linksys?

My port forwarding wouldn't worked until I either set a static IP or PPPoE (The latter may not apply to you) in the main settings page of the router, so try one of those.

My static DNS 1 2 and 3 are all at 0's on the front page of mine.

What would be my static ip? 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.100?

192.168.1.136 should work.
I have the same model.

Sweet thanks Chrono. I'll test it out =)
