That's the point that I'm making. The article says Blockland was influenced by the mods, when really, it's clear it wasn't.

Pretty inaccurate:

Some features that can be seen in the retail edition that were influenced by user mods include: letter/print bricks, the brick selection system and interactive bricks to an extent.

Badspot pretty much planned that for a while, before the mods.
