Hate to tell you this, but you will not make 60k per year doing PC repair.

lol what the forget does A+ mean? you earn a certification in high school or something?

degree > cert.

any starfish can get a cert in anything. stuff i can lie and say i had a bunch on a job app, and they wont even want to see it lol.

loving stuff, fine, I'll play.

1. I was not talking to you.
2. I have three computers I built myself and modified right beside me.
3. I get PAID to fix computers.

RAM has forgetloads to do with speed:
The amount of data it transfers per second. If ram processed at a forgetlow speed, you'd have fun sitting in front of your computer for 10 minutes until it starts up. Your computer can dump more objects into larger amounts of RAM for faster fetching, thus speeding up program load times, and reducing the amount of pagefile used. I'm not going to exhaust the rest of my knowledge until more dumbass comments are made.

Who are you D:

No new memeber is as awesome as you

Purchasing "faster" RAM may improved the performance of a machine, but it will certainly not have the magical effects that many inexperienced users expect from it. I think they feel that adding RAM is like some kind of special elixer that will somehow fix all the problems with their computer and magically prevent them from having to perform a real hardware upgrade.

As a rule of thumb, if you understand the concepts behind what makes one stick of RAM better than another, then you are more likely to appreciate the difference it makes. If not, I wouldn't recommend reading to deep into it.

generally people believe ram is the best or only upgradable thing, because thats all the commercials for best buy comps talk about.
all them "memory upgrades" you can pick from when buying a new comp.

people began to think that's what makes one computer better then another

Didn't you ever take a computer class in high school?
A+ is one of those certifications that EVERYONE puts on their applications along with the Microsoft one.

sry i didnt take a class in high school. i just went out to get an IT degree instead.
sry im noob

I don't get how you never heard of it though  :panda:

i know of what certifications are.
you can pay 50 bucks, take a 6 hour class for any of em.

im sure it has come up many times for me, i must be less then impressed.

I have four Gigabytes of ram. :o

I have about a gig of RAM myself and it seems to fit my needs. I'd kill for a dual core processor though. Mine isn't, but still puts out a good 2.4 Ghz

Took a year class. College course.

My computer has 312mb of ram, it's also only 700mhz. Therefore I win.
