Alright, i have a problem with forwarding my ports, I forwarded my ports before, but then we changed or ISP to comcast and i have to re-port forward. So, the real problem is that when i enter the default gateway into firefox, it doesn't take me to my routers page, it just loads for a long time, then tells me it cant connect to it. help me please? I'd really like to host servers again.

Bump, still need help.

If your asking if im using internet explorer, No. Im using firefox.

Your your modem may need to be set up with a direct connection. Some of them require you to plug in via usb to modify the settings. Otherwise just open up a command prompt and make sure your default gateway is what you think it is by running ipconfig.

I mean use internet explorer.
you said it loads and finishes with nothing in firefox, so try with ie.

My modem is plugged in via usb cord. Also, I have checked several times in command prompt with ipconfig, and i am typing in the correct default gateway. Anyways, for what WhoDa said, I have tried using IE, but ill give it a go again and see if it helps.

So, I tried using IE, but that was no help it just says it cannot display the webpage.
