Author Topic: What Internet browser do YOU use?  (Read 6391 times)

WHO GIVES A forget.

Seriously, this pisses me off. Why the forget do you care what other people use to view the Internet? It doesn't effect you in any way. Even worse is when starfishs discriminate because you use a specific browser. It's basically like discriminating over what Shampoo you use. I use Internet Explorer. I have been using it since it was first presented, so sue me for liking it better than Firefox, it feels more fluid to me. This shouldn't change your opinion on ANYTHING. If you use Firefox, great, I don't give a damn. They all do the same loving thing and you're loving handicapped if you think you're better because you use Firefox.
I remember (VH's, or Spations...) Site, that blocked me from entering because I used IE. What kind of ignorant bullstuff is that. I can't some up that amount of stupidity in a single sentence. A persons choice of an HTML/PHP Viewer SHOULD NOT HAVE AN EFFECT ON ANYTHING OR ANYONE OTHER THAN THEMSELVES. Another point I anticipated has been demonstrated below; Most Friefox users are smug, elitist starfishs, who believe their opinion can be correct.

Stop being so god-damned stupid.

what shampoo do you use

If you use Steam, what color do you use?

I thought everyone knew Firefox was better now. Oh well.

I thought everyone knew Altiarch is handicapped and doesn't know a thing now.  Oh well.

What kind of gas do you use.

And I'm tired of cigarettes who use an inferior browser telling me they don't care if I use Firefox.

It's basically like discriminating over what Shampoo you use.
That actually happened to me in school once D:

One person in my class was extremely surprised after randomly asking me what shampoo I used and me replying with "Whatever's there". They all work the same for me, so that's fine.

It could be argued that Firefox, Internet Explorer and all the other browsers do not work in the same way. Firefox has better compatibility with actual HTML standards (I can't find the exact thing, but Firefox and Safari both support the <canvas> tag while IE does not) and CSS, for instance.

(I can't find the exact thing, but Firefox and Safari both support the <canvas> tag while IE does not)
I've never even heard of a <Canvas> tag.

And I'm tired of cigarettes who use an inferior browser telling me they don't care if I use Firefox.
Stop being such a smug starfish. An opinion can't be correct, and i've never seen anything Inferior between the two.

Did you know website designers have to write two versions of websites? One for the broken IE with quirks and non-standards-compliance, and a fully working version for Firefox, Safari, Opera etc.

IE doesn't correctly support CSS, Javascript, SVG, HTML5, transparent PNG, XHTML or DOM. All of these are very important to making websites look prettier than just text.

The standard test of web standards compliance is Acid3 (http://acid3.acidtests.org/). As you can see, IE fails and other browsers get near-perfect scores.

IE6 - 12/100 (Trident)
IE7 - 14/100 (Trident)
Firefox 3 - 71/100 (Gecko)
Safari 3.1 - 75/100 (WebKit)
Konqueror - 76/100 (KHTML)
Opera 9.52 - 83/100 (Presto)

Whoever voted Safari any better than firefox is an idiot and deserves to be hanged. (Nobody try to be smart and say hung*.)

That's a reason to change.
"Because it's better hurrrr" isn't a reason.

One of the main comfortability issues with IE is to Click to make a tab. In Firefox, I have to right click then go down the menu...
Is there an Add-On that can change that?

With Firefox, I've gotten used to middle-clicking for new tab links, or Ctrl T for a blank tab.

Generally, I'll right click on my Home button more often than I make a blank tab.

Also, I like the bookmarks bar on the left, rather than having it take up an entire loving toolbar.
