Author Topic: How did you find out about BlockLand.  (Read 18999 times)

I found it a couple years back by searching for free online multplayer games on google. I think I found it in 2006 or 07

friend told me about age of time, played it then tried rtb and then bought a key this year.

My brother played it(durning the time when we were lego men,RTB I think),and I played it a little(not much D:),and he delated(spelling?) it,and lost his key(after he gave up on playing it,he didn't give it to me D:)So I earlyer this year I was on YouTube searching LEGO games, and re-found blockland.

I was just looking at a persons profile on youtube and then blockland comes.

My little brother found it on the internet somewhere.  He bought a key and we both played on it two save $20.00.  I got my own key this year, because we couldn't visit the same server.  Now my ID is in the 7600's, when it should be alot lower.

Since I was tired of playing handicapblox but I still wanted an online Lego-ish game, I just searched for "Online Lego game", and voila. I got the demo immediately, in the days of v8, but I waited a few days earlier than the switch to v10 to get the key... so if I got the key immediately, my BL-ID should be lower than it really is.

Blockland doesn't show up in the first 5 pages (too lazy to check more) of google when you search "Online lego game" or "Online building game"

Roblox show's up sixth when searching "Online building game" which is probably why they have more users.

My sister found it at warbears.com.

Hmmm. I thought this died. Thanks for bringing it back. :D

Screen savers.

I originally saw it on "Screen Savers", but shortly after that I forgot the name. A couple of weeks later, my friend was hosting a lan party and we played Blockland Mods. When I got home is when I first jumped into the community and got RtB. A year into RtB and I saw an article in Computer Gaming World magizine about Blockland. I then stopped when Retail first came out and the RtB community died. I'm going to be getting a laptop and copy of Retail very soon, so I guess I found out about Retail through the forums.

www.pcgameworld.com wrote a article about the best free demo's on the internet or something.

And blockland was on it.

And here i am.
