Author Topic: .rec files and recording.  (Read 1035 times)

I'm currently looking to record some blockland videos, however, I don't know if this is a problem with my computer or what, but I've found that the game slows down and the recording becomes choppy when recording (I use camstudio).

Is there some way to use the .rec files that blockland's video recordings create, or to eliminate the choppiness produced  by using other programs to record blockland videos?

REc files don't even work with the in-game thing, that's why it was removed. (Demo button)

Okay? What should I do?

Type /timescale 0.5, THEN record, and speed it up while editing.

Also make sure you aren't recording at too high of a frame-rate if you have slowdown problems.

the audio in mine just gets very out of synch D:  doesnt slowdown though

Why do the default keybinds start recording demos anyway if you shouldn't be able to play them back?

Or use Fraps to record

Marcem, the original topic starter stated he was using some camstudio program. It could be slowing down blockland while it's recording. That's why mike suggested to use Fraps.
