Dual Core 'Missync'?

Could it be possible for a dual core CPU's links to become damaged in some way?

Could this create problems for the rest of of the hardware?

I.. I don't know... thats a good question. Theres probably something keeping them connected so that cant happen.

The two cores aren't physically separate from each other...its all on one chip. I don't think you could damage the link between them without ruining the whole CPU.

It would most likely render the cpu damaged and not work any more

But that is a good question. This is only a guess
