So at lunch I was there minding my own business when I noticed some random dude beside me inspecting his hands. I was kinda weirded out and wondering what he was doing, when suddenly started punching the wall. I would like to point out that the walls at my school are made out of very sharp pointy bricks that dig holes in your back when you lean against them. So anyways, I obviously respond in such a manner as "What the hell are you doing?"
He appearently knows more than be because he goes on to explain that when his knuckles get all cut and stuff, they will heal over and become caloused. I inquire as per the purpose of such, and he replies that it is so his hands don't hurt if he gets in a fist fight. I point out that caloused knuckles won't stop his hand from breaking if he were to punch someone in the jaw. He doesn't understand the signifigance, so I explain that when his hand is broken, he can't use it. He tells me that his hands have been broken many times, shows me a scar on his hand from one time he had to get surgury or something to fix it, and remarks how he can still use them. I ask how did he break his hand, he told me it was from punching a kid in the back of the head. He also tells me that he still used his hand to write and stuff after he broke it, and it only hurt a tiny bit.
/facepalm

I was going to make a sarcastic comment on the topic tile.

But seriously. Wow.

I seriously lol'd at how I can relate to your experience. Epic.

good thing those callouses will prevent his hands from breaking!

I told you to not tell people that story. I have a hard enough time trying to callous up my fists into pointy Doomsday spikes so I can eventually kill Superman......again. *coughs*
