After learning about a weapon known as the 'Fire Lance' Alien Blaster, I wanted it. But then I found out that its a random event were there's an explosion above your head, then ammo, and the Fire Lance rain down. But I think I saw this explosion before, but have forgotten were I saw it, so I was wondering if there was a way to find it, like a console command that finds a certain items 'number', or something like that.

I'm Very Evil in Fallout 3. It all started with Nathan when I said 'THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE ENCLAVE SUPPORTER!" and shot him in the head...

Maxing out speech is great for Karma
Also, I love how all the guides say that the only ways to get the password from the Overseer is picking the right speech or killing him. I pick-pocketed him :D

The Alien blaster can be found lying next to a dead alien and his crashed UFO. It can be found almost directly north of Minefield. It is a long walk, but the weapon is the most powerful in the game. Most enemies receive a critical hit 100% of the time and vaporize.

Too bad ammo is practically non-existent.

Not that one, its the special vesion of it called the 'Fire Lance', it appears in a random event. But I figured it out anyway, with the help of the console >:D

Small weapons is probably the most useful of all the weapon choices, there is a larger variety too. Does anybody else think that Big Guns is a poor choice to start with?

I prefer unarmed combat myself. It's fun and provides a nice challenge.

Watch as handicapped fanboys go into a nerd rage.

Also...

God loving damn it. Can't they enjoy the game? The game WAS more RPG than anything. As long as you use VATS mode it is all about luck...FPS skills hardly count at all.

From reading the wiki...the game seemed pretty inline with FO lore.

Damn fanboys always complaining.

I dunno, I find that its more fun with the action elements. They seem to want to dumb it down to the level of click-on-the-guy-and-then-do-nothing-until-he-dies that is commonly seen in MMORPGs.

Anyone kinda bored of it...

I mean it's great and all, but like... iunno i just cant go back to it for some reason.

Due to the fickle nature of women I assume.
