"Good" "sucks" and other terms aren't quantifiable ways to define an operating system. You can scream at the top of your lungs that Linux or Mac OS or even Vista are the best/worst/suckiest but ultimately your just voicing your opinion.

From what I have read, Linux is an efficient operating system, but compatibility and user friendliness are lacking.
