I seriously have to disagree on this one. Name one instance in which an automatic weapon has been used for good in the hands of a non-authority figure. Not to say that people working under the law have never done a corrupt deed, but seriously, name one case. You can't. There are none.

A gun can protect, yes, but it's purpose is to hurt. Do you need an automatic rifle? You don't. The only people who "need" guns are the ones with bad intentions.

I fully agree. The only people you need guns to protect from are people carrying them. Seems like a catch 22.

Civilians cannot purchase automatic weapons, unless they have a special permit. As well as
many assult rifles. Go move to california and buy an AR-15.
