Author Topic: Ownership loading pooped?  (Read 1500 times)

It seems to work fine 50% of the time, but the other 50% it screws stuff up.
Anyone else having similar problems?

How is it "Screwed up?"

Well, on my city build for example, it loaded fine the first few times.. but after that I owned half of the buildings (When I shouldn't have)

Brick ownership derives from the baseplate the bricks are on.

Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, That explains alot.
Thanks.

If you have floating bricks (caused by brick deletion, ex toolwand). Ownership will transfer to the loader.

Does it have to be a baseplate, or can it be any brick?

I believe it's any brick touching the ground.

No, the game defines baseplate as any brick in the baseplate catigory.

Oh?

It does not "use 2148 events".  The number displayed during saving includes ownership data, and since you didn't build on a baseplate it has to send the ownership for every single one of those bricks that touch the ground.  Good job.

I assume that has something to do with ownership.

Hmmm, different use of the term baseplate then.

I would like it if it saved them so you can sill clear their bricks as that person's group in the admin menu.

This happens on my City Build, so good I have an explanation now.
