Author Topic: Download Troubles  (Read 1588 times)

I've been getting troubles with downloading things, my computer downloads things to 100mb or lower, then will stop, only in browsers, does anyone know how to fix this?

Wow, I never look at it that way, now I can patch Battlefield!  :P

EDIT: Third attempt, stopped at 75mb.

Sounds like ISP trouble. Go slap your dad for cheaping out.

Best ISP in the area.  They seem to be being starfishs with reliability lately though.

Crappy area then.

Do you want me to move to a bigger city then?  You DO realize, some people are happy with what they have, not what they could have.

Bigger city = stuffty service.

Wow, then I guess my city is perfect, not too big, not too small, yay.  NOTE: I have AT&T Yahoo!

You're the one complaining about download speed.

Hahaha I live in Las Vegas and have very fast download speed.

You've just proven that it is not your browser causing the trouble and you said that you can't get more than 100 mb/s with most websites so leads me to believe it's not trouble with the source so clearly it must be the delivery system.

I'm not saying you have to go out and buy the best connection possible, because quite frankly, that isn't possible for average joe, but perhaps you do need to contact your ISP and see what is going on. If it can't be fixed, try using a different service.

Hmm, yeah, i should check that out, also, I tried a fifth time, it stopped at 160mb, but Steam works fine, it has done this in the past.
