Author Topic: JVS BLID Allow and Deny list: What are they and how do i edit them?  (Read 1228 times)

Ok i like to use trust level 2 for restriction on my doors, but sometimes i have full trust with people, but i dont want them in my house; When i set the restriction to BLID Allow, I Wasn't even able to go through it. How do i add/delete ID's to the list?

Just go on On active> Self > door open > BLID Allow then you while get a sqaure [ID's here] put asmany as you want example 3987 or if you want more do it like this 3987 5948 2345 or whatever you want and its never ends and make sure on door close the same (you can open this menu whit wrench then click the JVS brick then events)

This door will (for example) only allow players with BL_ID 130, 666 and 1337 through.

When the door is set to BLID Allow or BLID Deny, you should enter IDs in the textbox, separated by spaces.
BLID Allow only allows players with those IDs will be allowed in. (make sure to include your own!)
BLID Deny will allow anyone to enter, except players with those IDs.

In the example, I set the onDoorStuckPlayer event to open the door again for anyone, so that players do not get 'jammed' in the door. If the door is going to automatically open on a trigger or relay, it's best to use Unrestricted.

well then what was the CW thing?

That determins the direction the door swings open. If you change that to the other option the door will swing the other way. This is nice because it makes double doors work and look better.

Thanks a ton surfdiver2008, I wasn't sure what that was either.

so lets say CW makes the door open to you when the handle is to the right. What makes it go the other way?

CW makes the door open ClockWise. CCW is CounterClockWise. If you want two doors to open the same way (double doors), turn around one of them and make that one CCW.
