Also called the sandwichSqueezeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Theoem.  Of course that day was the day that we got to talk about Bi-conditional stuff.  The teacher also mentioned going both ways.  It was funny.
The lesson is most math is very situational(You have 6 pears traveling at a velocity of 36 m/s thrown 120 degrees apart from each other. The path of the pears can be expressed by the function f(x)=4x6-35x3+67x2+255x-78. Find the point where each pear is equally distant from each other.)

that's what the teacher said...  :O

I'm in honors calculus. Its a bitch at times.

I looked at a pre-calc book back in fifth grade; seemed kind of easy (pre-calc, not calculus).

loving easy stuff, geometry gets worse o.o At least, she's reviewing now but more in-depth stuff for stuff like lines and getting angles and stuff. Getting really complex in determining it o.o

Pffft. Finding angles is cakewalk. All of it is essentially subtracting.

anything is easy if you know the basics and take it step-by-step

Code: [Select]
            / A
C _7y-10___/_2x-6__ D
          /5y+58
         / B
M=Middle
Find the measure of angle <AMD

You find that simple?

That's so loving easy.

7y-10=5y+58
y=34
(Vertical Angles)

238-10+2x-6=180
222-180=42
X=Answer to life

(Some random postulate)

7y-10=5y+58
y=34

7y-10+2x-6=180
x=81

That's wrong, you need to get the Angle, not the X and Y values.

Edit: Lol, since I randomly put that together, it came out weird...

Code: [Select]
7y-10=5y+58
2y-10=58
2y=68
y=34

7(34)-10
238-10
228

5(34)+58
170+58
228

180-228
-48 = <AMD

Bahaha, you have no idea. My school is an honors high school. EVERY class is honors.

Bahaha, you have no idea. My school is an honors high school. EVERY class is honors.

Mine is too, we switched to that last year :P Funny thing is that they only classes that didn't have forced honors were math and science ones which were the only courses I really wanted honors in. And to brag more, a small percentage of 8th graders at my school are two years ahead (taking geometry). I'm taking ap calc this year, we finally got to the real calculus stuff today, I can't wait to get into the complicated stuff :D

I ahted algebra. Geometry, though, rocks.

that's the reason that a very nice calculator is sitting in my backpack.
