Author Topic: The Velvet Grand Hotel and Casino  (Read 12588 times)

Hello im new to blockland, and this is my first post so bear with me on this.

I created a Casino/Hotel. around 39k blocks.. a lot of them.. and it took a long time to make. im still not done because i have a few exterior little things left as well as a few casino games i need to add. Included in this topic is pictures of what I have so far. so I am basically done, but just a few things left ;)

The Slot machines acctually work, when you click the button lights flash (working on sounds) and change the 3 number prints. (I acctually once got 777 which is the picture included) I havn't found a way to get a reward system.

The Blackjack tables work. It deals you 2 numbers with the highest number being 18. No able to hit (yet). im still trying to get the black jack system down.

Im working on a Poker Game. but I cannot find a random colorchange event for bricks. (if anyone knows of one lemme know please!)

Future Ideas:
-Making it a mandatory minigame where your score is how much money you have, each time you click a black jack table or slot machine according to what you get pays out scores. each time you click takes a certain amount of score away.

Questions from me:
-Is there a reward system I can use?
-How do you like the idea or what I have done?
-Is there a random color change event?
-any more ideas that im not thinking of?

Wow. If you're new to Blockland, this is great. Just a bit spammy, and exterior looks a bit plain, but for some reason I feel you will be a great part of the community.

This is really good for a first build.

your new to blockland but I can definitely see your not new to building...I like this.

okay all i can say is "damn! i WANT THIS!"

you like kick the ass of my first build.

Am I the first person to say Epic?
Epic.

I really mean it.
I'd like to be in the same clan as you someday :D

EDIT:After looking at it a second time, my advice would be is to use bigger bricks, not using lots of small bricks, cause it looks quite spammy in places.

[DoT] Would love to have you in our clan Only1rebel, please join we need some epic builders!

Also the build looked extremly good for your first one great job on it, its epic.

The exterior is too boxy, but the interior is epic.

Like I said, its a work in progress. but thanks for all the good feedback! I realized I needed to try and use bigger bricks but all the small ones are coming mostly from the ground tiles and lil details I was doing.

As for the exterior im not finished with that as I do have some ideas for it. but then again I dont want it to become laggy you know? but thanks again for all the nice feedback and suggestions.

But if anyone could help me with my questions that would be great and I would be eternally grateful =D

Definitely in the upper echelon of builds. I have a hard time grasping the fact that you're new to this game, what with the good build and the masterful use of the wrench event system.

10/10 this is aces work and I hope you become a more prominent member in the Blockland community.

(that and release a save *wink wink*)

Nice interiors simple exterior. I'd like to see some more card tables or something related though. The floor seems empty.

I'd like to see this in game for a better look.

Wow, you're better than most people. Just use bigger bricks, more interior work, and you're an ace player. Not reffering to the player with the username "Ace"

i feel ashamed about my hotel now :( man i feel like my building sucks :( *runs to cry in a corner*

i have one question. Are you really new to blockland? lol. your a great builder and you dont have a computer that will lag with a lot of bricks, as i can see by the 39k bricks, and i expect great things from you, great things!

I think the carpet needs something other than just red, other than that this is pretty amazing.
