Author Topic: No school in central Ohio!  (Read 3105 times)

Wow, this is pretty amazing. Yesterday, there were hurricane force winds in Ohio!  Apparently, the winds were strong enough to lift my trampoline over my neighbor's fence into their yard. My whole house was shaking for most of the day.

Routinely, I had gotten up at 5 a.m. today to get ready for school. When I turned on the TV, I decided to look at the news. Lo and behold, over 9000 200 schools were closed! The best part was that mine was in there! :D

tl;dr: Holy stuff, Hurricane Ike was strong enough to close schools in Ohio.

ITT: Unappreciative jerk who is glad there is no school.

Grow up.

Not glad; surprised. I wasn't exactly expecting a hurricane to affect school all the way up in Ohio.

Only about 10 schools were closed in western New York.

I'm glad I have school because I'm paying for it.

Now it all becomes clear....

That's along with all the other benefits of education. -_-

No schools are ever closed up here.
