I don't know if I'm the only one here that writes, but if I'm not then feel free to post your works.
Constructive criticism and comments only please, I don't feel like sifting through the "EMO!" and "cigarette!" posts to try and find real ones, so please be at least a little mature.
A non rhyming one I wrote:
Population diminishes,
The head count falls,
The babies are torn from their wombs,
They begin the decaying cycle,
Letting the world decay our human race is divided,
Among the greats and the derelicts,
But in the end we will all die equals,
And beneath the crust of the earth;
The skin of the dead will diminish,
Leaving only a carved sculpture of their own sin,
The souls divided into flows,
Departure begins for their second lives,
The paths are constructed as they lived,
Leaving only time to let them ride,
They can no longer choose what path to take,
Passing through the dirt; they are immortal,
The maggots and parasites are left behind,
Letting their souls ride pure into the abyss.
A rhyming one I wrote:
Peace is gone and I'm alone,
I want to feel the joy of home,
the love I felt when the place was my own,
what is contempt?
All I know is resent!
I resent my actions and my past,
I was young; I thought the moments would last,
all that's left is memories,
every day I watch them die before me,
look into my face with a mocking eye,
I hope that you aren't afraid to die-
because I will kill you,
I'm not afraid to loving go through,
taunt me again and I'll rip out your spine,
the blood on my skin just feels so divine,
I will murder your whole loving family,
I will make sure you know the pain that you gave to me,
family is all I have left,
no friends and no lover,
You will feel my pain,
everyone will suffer.
