I prefer short socks. Those and there are these really awesome long blue socks from The Sharper Image or a store like that. I don't remember where. Anyway they make everything you walk on feel really soft. Like walking on carpet when on hard surfaces, kind of. It's super soft on carpet. I'd never wear them in public since their fuzzy and blue, but their great for a cold Saturday morning.
