Your conception of what an avatar is so utterly forgeted up, I'll tell you what it is.
An avatar is a representation of your self. You select the avatar because it appeals to you in some way. Maybe it represents your personality, or your thoughts on a subject. An avatar is
not required to have a relation to location where it is being used.
I chose my avatar because it is a perfect representation of me. The man in it is a national socialist general from the game Bionic Commando: Rearmed. He's intelligent, strong, vindictive, prejudiced, and not afraid to express his beliefs. All qualities of myself.
What does
