Author Topic: Giant Drawing Collaboration  (Read 3453 times)

I thought it would be cool to have a giant drawing collaboration.  Say, on person draws something and every person participating prints off, draws, scans, and posts the latest version.  I thought it would be a crazy piece of artwork if a lot of members get involved.  I do not have access to a scanner at the moment, but feel free to start the drawing, anyone.

The only rule, I think, is don't make your drawing take up a ridiculous amount of space and if you do, your addition will be skipped over.

Good, idea, hard to match up the edges though.

What type of artwork would you like us to make?

Yeah, we need a subject. We could draw like a huge map, like on the Nokia 6220 advert.

Sure, a huge map would be awesome.

Or...we could make each post a picture so they all line up vertically. So I post an image and then someone else posts an image that links up to it below.

Working on my section of map now.

Will join in.

Question: Do they all have to be the same kind of art style, or can they have different art styles as long as they don't harshly conflict with the person above?

Is it a map or a person?

We should have a default tile or something. Without tiles we have to wait for the person to finish and then try to beat a different person to posting our own.

How about having a default tile that all the images work no matter what the order.  So you can just submit the tiles and they are effortlessly added to the map, and the whole image tiles no matter the order.

Pretty much what I said but worded better.
Thank you.

We haven't even posted a picture yet. :)

Defualt tile should be like 50x50 so that way it could be a bigger map
