There's no reason you would need a LittleBigPlanet update if you're not connected to the internet. Also how did you mess up your Ps3s connection by moving? Have you even tried setting up a new connection?

I didn't move, I moved the PS3, and it uses wireless. It does still have connection, but it's really slow and looses connection all the time. And I want the update because it's annoyning it keeps asking me to get a the update.

I got a really long white ethernet cable running along a wall. It's at least 15 M long, works like a charm.
Moving the router closer might now always be an option because the router still needs to be connected.
