I can't figure out my password and username! I have a compac brand comuter and windows XP. Many cookies to The one whith the answer!

It doesn't matter what computer you have, find out what router you have, that is the important thing.

A router is a small box, which connects you to the internet (and other LAN computers), you MAY not have one, however I doubt it. If you find this box, there should be a make and model number on a sticker on the side.

If default, your password should be admin (I think that is what it is for CompUSAs). If you want to port forward, you will need a static IP address, which you may or may not have.

A static IP is an LAN IP in your network, which doesn't change. Most routers and computers default to giving you a dynamic IP address, this is because it requires no extra setup, if you wish to have a static IP (required for many routers to be able to port forward), please just follow this simple tutorial, if you do not understand, do not hesitate to ask.

I would recommend trying this, following all steps, if this doesn't seem like your router, try one of the following two, as there is three different (listed) CompUSAs. However I think the first link should work for you.
