Jock's potential future:
Plans to get an athletic scholarship. They don't know how good they have to be to play in even college series, and compared to high school players they mostly suck.
Instead, when they get rejected for that athletic scholarship, they get a crappy low pay job washing the 7/11 bathrooms.
Normal person's potential future:
Won't go into detail, but probably a normal working pay.
Nerd's potential future:
Plans to get a real academic scholarship, which in some cases they could.
Should in any case they get rejected, they simply go to another school.
Eventually they WILL find a school, and they'll be making good amounts of money rolling in, their job will probably be a CEO of a company in the area, and eventually will start a very large company that will lead him to have a family fortune.
They're the ones who'll outpay their kid's school so that they can skip a year and have the family go on an RV trip around the country. Who knows, when the former nerd and former jock meet in the 7/11 bathroom, they just might have some...'old reminiscence'.
Also, to be honest, I'm really of a half-nerd. I'm not as smart as people think I am, and I'm not as interested in writing down pi for fun.
