You put in the wrong one. The standard for accessing a router is 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101, or 192.168.1.102

Start -> Run
Type in cmd, press enter.
Type in ipconfig, press enter.
Enter what it says for Default Gateway into the web browser

I typed in the Default Gateway into the webrowser but it brought up a google search saying that couldn't find the page.

Wow. Did you even check that link before you went to it? It's NETGEAR's support site.
make sure your typing http:// and then the IP instead of just the IP.

I would have changed it, but there is a lack of an editing feature.

Also, I use a Netgear, and it brings me to my router's page.
