BL not recognizing my sound driver

I'm having problems with my sound. I did have sound when i first loaded this BL but for some reason it now doesn't play sound and everything is on. in the console it says Fails to initialize driver. Does this mean I have to update the driver? or what? my comp is only half a yr old so it's up to date of everything. plz help.

i can hear things from different programs but not BL

i dont remember how anymore but there is a way that your blockland might be trying to play audio on a different device, what are you runing? vista? xp?
