I am trying to figure out Audacity. I have selected the part of the song I want to save, but I can not figure out how to eliminate the rest of the song that I don't want. How would I do this with a mac OSX?

Highlight what you don't want, and then go to Edit and then Delete.

or just copy the selected part, press the x to close the file but not the program and press paste

ACK, new problem. Now I have what I need, but how do I save it to a .ogg file?

click file, export as ogg then find lame_enc.dll (its in the system32 folder) and save it in you add_ons/music folder

WOO! It's in my blockland BGM folder, but I can't find the box to check. So I can listen to it with the BGM mod, but not with a music brick, same with several other songs.

It's pretty confusing. I'm looking at the other files, and they seem to be set up the same way as all the others. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I just save it as a .ogg to my desktop, then click and drag it to the music file. So I hear it with the BGM mod, but not with a music brick.

how do you make it an Ogg.?

YOU TAKE ABOUT FIVE DOZEN EGGS
START PUTTING THEM IN A BOWL
MIX THE forget OUT OF THEM
AND WHAT DO YOU GET
mondayS
-_-
how do you make it an Ogg.?

You click File, then save as and go down to file type -> .ogg
Then you just drag it to your music file, please try it, I'd like to know if you get different results.
