Author Topic: RTB Under Maintenance  (Read 992 times)

The site is currently down, discuss theories.

RTB IS COMING OUT !!!!111!11oneoneone.

The RTB system may be down for some big maintenance later today - files will still be available for download via direct links however browsing and submitting will be disabled. I'll be making some changes to the way ratings are managed for different versions of files; currently ratings are based on file version but I plan to have ratings based on file title so ratings are carried forward for each update to a file you make (instead of resetting them). This means you can still submit an update without sacrificing your place on the top 10 rated files list.

I will also be changing the way file approval is denoted in the database (its currently 0 for unapproved, 1 for approved and 2 for failed which makes it hard for sorting by approved) - this is to facilitate the implementation of pagination which will be pretty vital as people submit more stuff. Currently viewing 100 files on one page in-game is causing about 3 seconds of loading-lag which is unacceptable.

So thats the deal.

tell bad spot to make a mac version.

tell bad spot to make a mac version.
1. It's Badspot
2. Badspot isn't makin' RTB.

3. Add-ons work for both platforms.

Fixed a horribly complicated SQL query which was producing incorrect file ratings on the top 10 ratings list, and was crashing the in-game system.
