I was also going to upgrade to a more demanding processor. D:

Ok, the computer died for a while there after it hit 100 degrees. I've got an external fan blowing into it right now. And its working. I'm at 10 degrees.
My computers so hot and loveier than yours, my half working fan makes my computer 96 degrees.

Whatever you do, don't do that. When I did it last time, it forgeted up my RAM or something and I had to get a new computer.

I don't hit it hard, just to wobble it a fair bit so it fixes itself.

Mine runs at a constant 130fahrenheit during the summer.

haha, mine is a loving fridge, it's always at 40 degress Celsius

5 when not under stress for me.

People talking about high temps, are you sure its not:
1) Your graphics card
2) In Fahrenheit
3) Faulty sensor (especially 130 degrees, what the forget)
4) You're stupid
?

According to the thermometer on my computer I'm running at L°C. Yaay for stuff loving up without reason!

I find it amazing that your computer runs below room temperature.

He said it was 130oF which is 54.4oC. That's bad for a CPU, but fine for a GPU.

My CPU idles at 27oC and goes up to 40oC under load.

My GPU idles between 48oC and 59oC depending on the temperature of the room and time of day. Never goes above 72 under load running at  1920x1200.

Where/how would I find my computer's temperature? Somehow I don't think you're all sticking thermometers into your computers but I could be wrong  :cookieMonster:

I measure it by sticking my, well, you don't want to know...

I use SpeedFan and EVGA Precision to check my temperatures.

I have a temperature monitor that can tell me the temp inside my case, the temp of my CPU, and the temp of my HDD.  My CPU is running at 97oF right now.
