In short;

Australian internet users now need to get a mandatory internet filter. And guess what that means. No more research.

Australia also ban extreme M rated games. I'm never going there.

The one time I wish I lived in America D:

We can't get half the stuff people from America can (I'm in New Zealand).
Can't buy online, slowest broadband, expensive stuff etc.

You can buy things online in Australia.
However, slow internet etc.

We ban games that go over our MA15+ limits. Most games don't, only things like BMXXX and crap like that. Also, Fallout 3 because of morphine, but they fixed that now.

My god if this actually goes through I'm quitting the loving internet.

I blame ruddy for this mess.

But the orriginal Fallout games had drugs.

No more research.

Well, it turns out now that those promises were only partially true. Internode network engineer Mark Newton told Computerworld that users are able to opt out of the "additional material" blacklist—which targets content inappropriate for children—but not the main blacklist that filters what the Australian government determines is illegal content.

So yeah research, but no warez.

Online civil libertarians have warned the freedom of the internet is at stake, but Senator Conroy says that is nonsense.
Hey Conroy, guess what. You're a loving idiot. Well done.
