Author Topic: Port Forwarding Question  (Read 1086 times)

I want to Forward my ports so I can host, right.
I am connected to another computer via wireless LAN and i recieve my internet connection through it. If I were to forward my ports on the main computer, would I be able to host from my computer? Would I need to change any of the IP's or anything?

forwarding ports is alot easier than you might think...
1. go to interwebs and type in 192.168.1.1
2. it'll ask for a username and PW
name:admin  PW: blank or admin or "password"
3. go to http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
4. choose your router type... despite it being connected to another computer... you should still  be able to access it...
5. choose Blockland from the game list
6. then follow the on-screen instructions on how to do it...

when i did it, it took about a week to kick in, so be patient!

It doesn't take a week to kick in... you obviously just needed to restart your router.
