Author Topic: Lol, so damn funny xD  (Read 3048 times)

i think it's time for this game to advance, the engine of this game is now old and out-dated, so for the better for this game, i think it's time for this game to get a brand new engine with better features. I wanna see this game to be at lease around the engine of HL2.

Yeah, i know what your thinking, "there is a mod for HL2 called Garry's Mod, use that".  I can't cause my account password somehow changed and i cannot even log in to my steam account to play it. I also got banned from the forums too, so i now hate there products now thanks to there so called "customer Support".

Anyway, i want this game to greatly improve. so that more people want to play this game and more people make more mods (or mini-mods), and more games to play that these people have made. I want this game to be new again!

Its somewhere lurking on the Suggestions Forum. Its like, on the 3rd page though. I was ROFLMAO (yes, Anarki did not use big words for once) when I saw it.

Yea I've seen that before. It was funny what the noob was trying to do. He didn't realise that TGE could have so many tweaks like having 3 times as many bricks without lagging.

sorry for bumping this topic, but realy, why BS isn't making the new retail with another engine? so thare could be more bricks with less lags?

A different engine doesn't mean less lag. And if Badspot switched I think he'd have to remake everything he's done, from scratch. I'm hope he uses a newer version of the current engine though.

He doesn't need a new engine, or even a new version.  Look through the forums some more, and you'll find this:

In it, he says he's optimised it so that it displays 8 times the number of bricks on-screen as it does now, and with no lag.  Enjoy this good read.  Mouser X over and out.

Meh I personally like TGE better than most game engines. Runs alot more smooth on TGE then it would steam. :/

Haha! Not only did HL2's engine take years and years to make with a massive budget, but it also runs like stuff on low level machines. Torque is definately capable of great things as well. Take a look at TLK. Some amazing things can be done with it ;) Along with running smoothly on lower level machines.
