Sht, my XP got hit. I was installing what I thought to be pivot 3, but it turned out to be something that moved my mouse around a lot, tried to change my registry (Yay SB-S&D), changed my computer name to richardpage, changed my password to something else (But I have several accounts). It also spawned lots of net.exe and net1.exe. anyone have any idea how to fix this? I'm thinking system restore.

It was some loving starfish who hated pivot beta three, so put a virus down that looked like pivot 3, but was a trojan. I'm going to download AVG now.

Yeah, that's why I never download .exe files from P2P servers....ever. They're always viruses.

OFUX?
How about contributing to the topic instead of posting useless spam?

Someone hated Pivot so much they put a virus on P2P services?

What a loving loser.

people should stop getting mad at players of that game, and not get mad at anyone. they suck.

I hate those kinds of people. They make me loving sick.

System restore.

Here is a tip for the future, and what I do, save it to a specific location, if you can, and when that is done, scan it for viruses... I can't help with what you have to do with the virus, but I am trying to help you with the future.

The Blockland Forums: Not your personal tech support.

Why not just DL Pivot 3 from the creator's site? why go to a shady third party unless....hmmm...

:O
I had that virus and it steals your information no joke if you use fire fox or internet explorer than your forgeted. All things you entered from the start you had the comp was taken to the place were people see your account info so CHANG YOU GOD DAMN PASSWORDS NOW!
Change me password before I get it?  You are an idiot.  Also, we aren't idiots like you to get it.

Do NOT use System Restore. It may bring back some of the infected files. My brother installed Zango and we had System Restore on. It modified our computer so it restored all major Zango files. So we kept all the Adware, Spyware, and Trojans.
