They cancelled the Freedomtower construction. I thought Larry gived 2 billion dollars for the new Twin Towers, and some other people donated to much billions money.

They coming back now, they under construction.

Proof? I'm pretty sure they're placing a memorial spiral, Eco-friendly tower. It's spiraled to force wind like down into the streets or something. I saw a documentary on it, pretty cool.

Yep, also it was going to be a single large building this time, but I heard this a LONG time ago so things may have changed.

The building is under construction, my architecture class went on a field trip to tour it and brought back pictures from floors still under construction. There are some really nice pictures of the Manhattan skyline.
