Author Topic: Got back from voting, also go vote.  (Read 1588 times)

I didn't have to wait in a long line at all, in fact, as soon as I got there, I voted. But there are only 10000 people in my town anyway.

My town has its own party that runs in all the local elections. I laughed because they put Roger Calero there; there wasn't any room for him elsewhere. I was trying to figure out why the town had a presidential candidate.

Anyway, I voted on the old lever machines, they are actually pretty nice. I'm hoping for no hanging or dimpled chads.

I mentioned that I voted, and one of my friends asked if I voted for the right candidate. I responded with "I plead the fifth."

So, yeah, you should go vote. I'm posting from school, so I don't have time to tell you why. If you don't want to vote, pretend I had an argument with you and won and convinced you to go.

I live in a real small town. I walked in at 7:05, signed in, voted, and left for school by 7:10. One of the guys running(for some bullstuff) was the candidate for every party except one. WTF

I'd have to register first, which would take longer.

They don't let me vote anywhere. I'm not welcome in your country, I'm too foreign. They won't let me in my country, I'm too young.
Either way, like one vote ever mattered. Inb4someone posts a story about a one vote win.

And if everyone had that thought like that...

Im not old enough, but I'd like to vote when I reach that age :D

I really couldn't care less who runs the country I'm in.

I voted for Nader/Perot 2008.

I'm a few months off voting this year.

Oh well.

I really couldn't care less who runs the country I'm in.

Neither do I, but I would still prefer not getting a douchebag *cough cough I'm lookin' at you harper.

Maybe I'll be able to vote in Decision 2012.
